Ostrzeszów – The Keep

The Town and Commune of Ostrzeszów are located in the southern part of the Wielkopolska region and cover the area of 187 sq km. Forests cover a substantial area of the commune which creates favourable conditions for active leisure of all kinds. Nature reserves “ Jodły Ostrzeszowskie” and “Pieczyska” on the border between the communes Ostrzeszów and Doruchów invite to wandering among oaks, hornbeams and firs and enable watching rare species of marsh flora.

Convenient location by important communication routs i.e. national road no. 11 and 25 as well as by the railway main Szczecin – Katowice favour the economic development of the commune.
The commune inhabitants’ resourcefulness and local authorities activity contribute to creation of new job places.
