Geographical situation and character of community

Miedzychód, the town with the 620-year-old history, is situated in the Miedzychodzko-Sierakowskie Lake District, at a distance of 85 km from Poznan and 60 km from Gorzów. It will be a seat of district authorities. The community has an agricultural character.
