The region is famous for its beautiful lakes, magnificent forests and numerous charming places. Every year a lot of guests, not only Polish ones, come to rest here. The Land of Miedzychód is called "the Country of One Hundred Lakes". The Warta river crosses the lake district, and the place of a unique beauty and natural values is the Kamionka river valley.
Numerous lakes are the habitats of many bird species, e.g. a falcon, a sea eagle, a black kite, a crane, a black stork, a grey heron, a swan. One of the tourist attractions is the natural reserve "Deby Kolenskie" ("Kolenskie Oaks") with the area of 14 ha located on Kolenskie Lake.

The natural resources of the area are the deposits of peat (humolite) and sulphuric springs which may be used for medicine in future. The lake district is covered with forests - the Notecka Primeval Forest spreads out over the area from the right bank of the Warta river.

On the edge of Notecka Forest, in Mierzyno, approximately 4 km from Miedzychód there is the Holiday Centre "Ustronie". It offers highly prepared bed places. Shops and restaurants provide tourists with complete service.

On Miejskie Lake in Miedzychód, next to the beach there is the "Neptun" Hotel providing good staying coditions and excellent cuisine. The situation and landscape of the region contribute to the development of agrotourism. In the community area there are several agrotourist farm accepting guests all year long.

They offer board and lodging and provide tourists with numerous attractions - rides by coach and on horseback, bonfires and roasting a wild boar, regional cuisine and old Polish hospitality. A lot of those farms have won medals in province and nationwide competitions.
