Kościan
district is situated in south - western part of Wielkopolska
province. It consists of five communes: Kościan town, town and commune
Śmigiel, town and commune Czempiń, town and commune Krzywiń and
commune of Kościan.
The commune of Kościan is a region with a special significance.
Exceptional significance is above all because of it’s central location
in Europe - only 150 km from the border with European Union. Commune
of Kościan is crossed by an international way E - 261 (5), connecting
Kościan - the capitol of commune directly with Poznań (42 km far
from Kościan) and Wrocław (125 km far from Kościan). Kościan has
also a convenient railway connection with Poznań and Wrocław.
A convenient location in Wielkopolska province, in the neighbourhood
of Poznań - one of the largest economic centres in Poland, makes
this territory interesting, either for national or for foreign investors.
Kościan district is also attractive due to it’s features which determine
economical growth, like for example: rich business environment with
numerous banks, developed technical and social infrastructure, all
communal and administrative institutions and departments and also
